Prime Insurance has donated a football kit worth over K20 million to Mzuzu based Malawi Defence Force (MDF) side, Moyale Barracks, as part of their decade-long partnership.
The donation, presented this morning, includes 2 sets of uniform, 40 tracksuits, 3 sets of bibs, 2 pairs of gloves, 30 pairs of boots, 30 shin pads and 36 t-shirts.
Prime Insurance board chairperson Andrina Mchiela said besides MDF ensuring all its vehicles with the company, they also want to be associated with the armed forces through Moyale Barracks who finished in the top eight of the 2024 season of the TNM Super League.
Moyale Barracks commanding officer Lieutenant Colonel Helbert Leman expressed gratitude for the support, saying they will fight to win the league in the coming season as well as strive to maintain high levels of discipline among players and supporters.
